Chimneys are exposed to the weather throughout the year, and over time, mortar joints can wear away. This can allow water ingress, which may contribute to damp issues, brick damage, or loose flaunching and cowls. Following a site survey, we provide clear, practical advice and outline repair options suitable for the condition of your chimney.
Typical services we offer (subject to survey):
Repointing and localised repairs – Removal of deteriorated mortar and repointing with a suitable mix. Where required, we replace damaged bricks, lead flashings, or flaunching to help restore weather resistance.
Partial chimney rebuilds – For smaller stacks or where damage is limited to the upper courses, we rebuild the affected section and make good any flashings or flaunching as necessary.
Complete chimney rebuilds – For stacks in poor condition where repair is not cost-effective. This includes scaffold access, dismantling of the existing stack, removal of waste materials, and rebuilding to an agreed specification.
All quotations are free and without obligation and are subject to survey. Access requirements (e.g. scaffold), waste disposal and making-good will be stated clearly in writing so you know what is included.
Get clear pricing and a straightforward scope. We’ll explain the options and timescales and answer any questions.
